"Ok. And thank you so much for accepting me," she turned to Mason. "I promise, I will not let you down. I would never betray this flock," she said, flying down from the tree to meet other chickens.

Mason looked at Heather, before flying down himself.

She walked over to Mason. "I don't believe I ever got your name," she said.

"Mason" he said flatly. He still did not show any emotion and his voice sounded hollow.

"Hi, Mason," she said.Then, she walked away to find someone else to meet.

Mason sighed sadly. He looked over at Daisy. She had chicks now. Yet he couldnt be there. He wondered what his life would be like if she was still here, but he shook his head and left to finish his patrol.

Divinity saw a large Rhode Island Red hen. She walked over to her. "Hi!" she said. "I'm Divinity. What is your name?" she asked,

Daisy sat in her nest, her chicks under. "Hello" she said brightly. "Im Daisy"

"Hi, Daisy!" she looked at the chicks. "Hi, what are your names?" she asked them.

"the speckled sussex is Tena and the Blue Langshan is Zeth" Daisy said, smiling at them
