Mason looked down at her. He sighed and fell asleep.

The next morning, Mason fed everyone, then woke up Ella. "Eat, fast." he added

 

[Malibu99]

"Okay." Ella said, jumping down from the roost and eating a bug. "What do we do now?" She asked excitedly.

 

[jallny]

"We are going to train" Mason said.

 

[Malibu99]

"Okay!" Ella said. She was excited for today's lesson.

 

[jallny]

Mason led her to a clearing. This clearing had many bushes and was surrounded by many shrubs that made it hard to find. "This is where i will start your training in self defense. It is an easy place. Do you know what PeaceTime is?"

 

[Malibu99]

"No." Ella replied, looking around at the wonderful place.

 

[jallny]

"PeaceTime is when the flocks meet at a full moon. Sometimes flocks declare war at this time. That means you need to know how to defend yourself and fight. For now, though, we will start with defense" he said.

 

[Malibu99]

"Okay.." Ella said nervously, looking at Mason and looking at how big he was compared to her little bantam body.

 

[jallny]

"You must learn to face your fears. Normally i wouldnt start training this early, but you need a bit more practice because you are smaller. In defense, being smaller can work to your advantage." He said. "First we will learn easy things, OK?"

 

[Malibu99]

"Okay." Ella said. "What do I do?" She asked.
