Mason thew a stick above her. It was a light throw but happened to go fast, he hoped she wasnt hit!

Ella, seeing how fast the stick was moving, didn't really think and she jumped up. She was so scared she jumped up above the stick and hit her head on a tree really hard. She shook her head, and walked over to Mason. "It... worked..." She said, then passed out.

Mason looked down at the pullet. what had he done??he picked her up and brought her back to camp. He laid her down in front of daisy. She got to work quickly, but i was no use, she was out cold. "About a day" was her rough estimate of when she would wake up.

Ella twitched her head slightly in her sleep. She was dreaming, and imagining that she was back with her mother.

Daisy fed her poppy seeds to help her stay asleep. Mason stayed with her, it was all his fault.

Ella shook her head. She opened her eyes, and she didn't realize that Mason wasn't her mother. So she snuggled up to him, still half asleep. Then she realized who Mason was and she scooted away a bit. "Sorry, I thought you were my mom." She said.
