Star just nodded. "Im sorry. i just" a tear slipped off her beak.

"Oh, shhhh, honey." Ches said. Star rested her head on Ches. "We all know" Ches said quietly.

"Star, please don't cry. What's wrong?" she glanced over at Ches while nuzzling Star affectionatly.

Ches gave her a sharp look and shook her head slowly. She started to hum a tune that seemed to make Star feel better.

"She nuzzled Star, trying to make her feel better.

Soon, they reached camp. "Why dont you go see Daisy?" Ches suggested to Star. Star nodded and bounced over.

Divinity walked over to Dash.

"Dash, what makes here think wouldn't want to meet the real her? Why is she so apologetic?" she asked her curiously. "Not that it's bad, I'm just curious," she said quickly.

Dash was with Rocky and Ches. Ches nodded as she spoke. "In Star's old flock, there was an abusive rooster. if she did something wrong or said something wrong, she was beaten. She was eventually beaten so bad, that she had to leave. she might have healed, but the scars still remain, some deeper than others."

"Oh, I understand. My old flock was similar to that," she said. "I got away soon enough, though. She must have stayed longer than I did," she said quietly.

"She stayed one month. The humans just thought it was normal for him to do that" Ches said.
