I ordered 5 light brahma female chicks from them and only 1 turned out to be a boy.

Great if they sex them correctly but, what quality are they. MPC is a middleman for a hatchery. Hatchery birds are generally not good representatives of their breed.

Isn’t that a downside with almost every hatchery?

sounds like they have a clairvoyant chick sexer working there - no wonder they cost so much

I wonder if they’re DNA sexing in bulk and saving money somehow.
