Yes - I will be doing that... it's just a bit time consuming so it will be a bit before I can get to it all - the kids are home now... LOL.

Never mind... it's done :)

Y'all be sure to let me know if you happen across any mistakes, issues, dead or mis-directed links etc. I still have lots of other Bee wisdom to add, but will probably work it like a blog from here on out with one post a day. I'll be doing regular "Ask Bee" articles - I already have quite a few saved and ready to go from things from this thread... and I will be "stealing" future Q & A from here and other threads (OT, FF) in the future. Bee has already shared so much wonderful information that I have tons to go through and post already! YAY Bee!

What a blessing you are, Bulldogma!

Hoping to not sound like everyone else but after checking last night to tonight, I have over 125 posts to catch up on. Whew!
Anyway, I wanted to comment on chickens not eating ff. I found out that apparently I was putting in too much ACV and once I decreased it a little they went to eating it just fine.
Also, my thoughts on FB are, my whole church belongs and we tend to interact with each other and our pastor for fun throughout the week. But, we all been hacked into. Just commenting.

I removed all my grand children's and family photo's off after evil people had taken some and twisted them into immoral poses.

You're embarrassing me - LOL.

There are just some things that should be shared and shared well. Your wisdom is one of those things.

If it hadn't been for this thread, my birds would still be eating dry, might be free ranging much, much less, might have been de-wormed with chemicals... a LOT would be different in my own yard. It should go without saying that a lot of other folks and their chickens have benefited greatly also!

It's work - but this will end up putting all the really good information in a format that will be easy to transfer into book form.

I "edited out" a few things about making your own nustock in hopes that at some point we can get them to do a give-away for us

I don't want to put up anything that might deter them. Hee-hee-hee!

I also took a lot of liberties with the editing... I took things from some of your other posts and added them into the main posts to round out the information that was being shared. I hope you don't mind.

As far as I'm concerned, this is FUN! I may not get much done this weekend - kids home and hubby is working, but come next week I'll be hitting it hard.

Thats awful, sorry it happened to you. and your church family.

This evening as the chickens went in to roost I started looking at feet, I had one a couple weeks ago that had the dreaded scab on the bottom of her foot, not swelled or red but it got me concerned so I washed it real good then applied Nu stock did it more more time a couple days later, nothing now completely gone. So tonight I examined the other found 2 more of my hens with the blk scab one with a little swelling, so i brought them inside washed the foot then applied Nu stock I'll check again in a few days but expect to find it all cleared up as well. That is some awesome stuff, Living in the mountains we have so many rocks it seems the ground just gives birth to them, I try to keep them clean up but in about a week there they are again, My girls will jump onto the gate to get out of the fenced area to forage and when they jump down they hit rocks I am amazed more don't have problems. So I've gone from looking at poop to looking at feet,

I don't mind one bit!! This will take the pressure off of me to write a book or have a blog!

As much as I love interacting with folks on here and sharing this info, my mind is on another plane right now than writing books....I've just been studying something that occupies a lot of my mind space lately and won't let me concentrate much on chickens. I'm very grateful that you have taken the time to extend this information into a more useful format for others. Invaluable service to the BYC community! Sincerely, it is truly a wonderful thing.

That NS is some stuff, huh? How simple yet effective...wish I had invented it!

Do you mind me asking something? Do you use ladder roosts?

Took me a few hours, but I edited and organized the entire first 31 days of the Gnarly Bunch.

Check it out here!

Over the next few days... weeks... ahem... possibly months... I'll be adding other pearls of Bee wisdom, so be sure to check back regularly!
I just had some time and read through your blog. Really great job on planning and organizing. You're making Bee proud I'm sure.
