We got 5 FBCM's, 3 Ameracauna's, 1 BCM, 1 BO!!! It's an exciting day in our house! Thank you John from Black Creek Poultry for accommodating us and our schedule. The new chicks are healthy and happy in their new home.

I only drove 100 miles to Burnet, Texas to get my peeps and I thought I had gone a long way. I know how excited you are to start raising them. Congratulations and good luck. Please post update pictures. franko

This are not our first batch of chicks.... our third actually but we are just excited about this new assortment and having FBCM's which means French Black Copper Marans! If you look at the first closeup chickie picture you can see the feathers slightly running down her little leg. Black Creek Poultry breeds purebred FBCM's and we drove to Alabama because they quit shipping the first week of June due to heat and we wanted to get started while the weather was still warm. It was a wonderful drive and that part of Alabama is just gorgeous. Thank you everyone for your kind words. My last batch of chicks, 4 Barred Rocks and 2 Production Reds are now 13 weeks and outside in the "Juvie Coup" as we call it.
