I've read about the "egg song" on here. I actually posted about my hens doing more of a whining sound that gets louder and louder when they're about to lay an egg, but I don't notice any sounds from them after they've laid an egg except sometimes a little later in the day they'll make the same noise and I start wondering if they're about to lay another egg but they never do...lol.

Anyway, I've started noticing the roosters truly doing the "egg song" sound that I've seen on youtube videos and such when one of the hens are making the whining noise and about to go lay an egg. I mean, between the hens and the roosters, it gets LOUD!

Is that normal for the roos to be doing the "egg song"? And before the egg is even layed? It makes me think the roosters are letting everyone know that they're the daddy...lol...like "That's mine!"

If I happen to get a chance to record the sound any time soon, I will update this post with it so you'll know what I'm talking about.
