That was pretty deep

It was kinda, but it's only the truth really. I mean, if you think about it, and be honest here- it does get rather annoying (Ok, allot annoying) when you are trying to RP with another fellow role players charrie, and they don't even get offended by a snarky comment your charracter made to them. Something like that, anyway. It gets way more interesting when there are disruptions in the role play and everything, which calls for more human- imperfect charries, like Gertrude pointed out.

Yeah, it does :)

I know I have already posted this RP on here before when it was first made, but I was just wondering if you would be able to help in any way?
Silver Mist has been getting really slow lately, partly because of a simple yet understandable lack of time for coming on here at the moment with practically all the members on there, but maybe something else?
I dunno, maybe I'm just being impatient. Maybe there's nothing wrong, and that's fine. Any advise appreciated :)

~Wolves of Silver Mist~ A Role Play Always accepting!
'Course I can.

There are three main packs: Moon Pack, Ice Pack, and Dawn Pack. Ever since the fall of Nightshade Pack, these wolves have dwelled in Silver Mist Valley, and lived in peace- until recently. There are lone wolves living in the mountains around the valley. Some of them are outcasts of the three packs, while others are decendants of Nightshade Pack. Some of these loners have started coming together, forming a mighty pack hungry for victory over Silver Mist Valley. But that's not all. It's winter, and any wolf will know that it's a hard time. But this year, the season has been incredibly harsh. Food is scarce, making more and more wolves go hungry. The three packs will have to work together if they want to remain in the valley- will you survive or not?

It starts a little bluntly. You might say: "In Silver Mist Valley, there are three main packs…"

Add: "All BYC rules apply", "Keep it (rating of your choice)" and "Don't play other peoples' characters".

Pack Ranks: *grumblegrumble* I don't like too many colors…

Alpha- Two in a pack. They are the rulers of their pack, and are usually mates.

Beta- One in a pack. They are the second in command, and re-enforce the pack rules. Usually there's a Beta Male and a Beta Female. (Just sayin'.)

Pack Mate- As many in a pack. They are the main body of the pack.

Omega- As many in a pack. They are the lowest ranking wolves, and eat last. They are often the ones to suffer first in a famine etc.

Loner- A wolf with no pack. They aren't always in the best condition, having to hunt smaller prey on their own if they don't pair up with another wolf, or join the wolves who are forming together.

"Pup" should be a rank.

Navy Blue- Moon pack. Moon Pack doesn't have the most water, but they get first pick of the caribou and elk as they have the best hunting grounds. These wolves are usually good hunters.

Purple- Ice Pack. Ice Pack live the highest in the valley, getting more cold weather then Moon and Dawn. The wolfs in this pack are tough and hardy.

Yellow- Dawn Pack. Dawn Pack's Territory has the most water, and lots of forest. They tend to hunt smaller animals, such as rabbits. Most wolves here are very good swimmers.

Surrounding Area- Loner Land. Often called "wolves of the beyond" by pack members, these wolves have the most harsh climates. There is not much food on the mountain where these wolves live. "Wolves of the Beyond" is an actual book series. (Again, just sayin'.)

That was pretty deep

I'm very deep. Apparently deep enough that I can write "singing mushroom with the face of a guinea pig" multiple times in bubblegum pink and still be deep!

Yeah, it does :)

So the moral of this story is I'm awesome, right? ;D

Anything I need to change or could add to?

The Wings of War

In a land called Corvea, there has been peace between the Corvids for many years, trade routes established, alliances forged, and even friendships have been started. But that all changed with the death of Emporer Castrus, leader of the great and powerful Crow Empire, some say he was killed in a skirmish, others of a sickness, but many believe it was murder. And with the Crow Empire weakened, some of the other nations have become unruly, especially the Ravens, these hostile enemies have more than once threatened to disrupt the order and peace of Corvea, but now with their worst enemies; the Crows, weakened, they have the oppurtunity to rise again, and unleash chaos upon all of Corvea. The only one who can stop them and restore the balance of power within the Empire is Castrus' oldest son, Corvo. But there's one problem; Corvo has been falsely accused of his father's death, and is being hunted down tirelessly. If he is to prove his innocence, reclaim his rightful place as Emporer, and halt the advance of the vicious Ravens, he's going to need some help, before the Wings of War truly unfold.

In Corvea, you are a corvid, which just means you're either a crow, raven, jay, or magpie, and these are just the main kingdoms. There are many other kinds of Corvids, they just live in one of the dominant kingdoms, or one of the uninhabited kingoms. There are no humans in this world, but there are other creatures, so that's why the birds mostly stay in the trees or in the air. Each corvid has their own society wth their own rules and cultures; the Crows have the Empire, Ravens the Tribe, Jays the Volery, and Magpies the Tiding.

The Crow Empire:

The crows are noble birds, they value justice, order, and honer above all else. The Rooks also live here as well, starting from when they fled their kingdom because of the advancing Raven army, many years ago. The Crows are pretty well rounded when it comes to weaponry. They were the dominant force in Corvea until the mysterious death of their leader Castrus. They live in the Great Oak, the largest tree in all of Corvea. It is located in the middle of Capra Fields, in the central area of Corvea. But beware, some crows may not be what they seem...

The Raven Tribe:

The Ravens are a fierce and bloodthirsty tribe, using force to get what they want. Ravens typically use Battle Claws and throwing knives, they are also pretty good archers. Because of their location, the Ravens use irons and other metals for armor and such, they are also great blacksmiths. They have been known to capture and enslave other corvids. They are the main enemies of the Crows, stopping at nothing to conquer all of Corvea. They hail from the Black Mountains, in the frigid North.

The Jay Volery:

The Jays are an inquisitive, colorful, and friendly bunch, welcoming most strangers into their kingdom in the Greenwood, located to the East. the Jays are especially friendly with the Nutcrackers, who have earned their trust over the years, forming a strong bond with them the Jays. And the Jays even allow them to stay in their kingdom. They are generally peaceful, but if threatened, they can be a force to be reckoned with. They may be small, but they can use it to their advantage, combining it with their superior agility they can quickly down a foe much larger than themselves. Jays are the best archers in all of Corvea. They are also good with small weapons, such as dual knives and shortswords. They typically use tree bark weaved together by grasses as armor, not too heavy but still durable.

The Magpie Tiding:

The Magpies are a shadowy group, they are also the smartest of the corvids, using more advanced weapons and technology than the other corvids. Of course, they don't let the others know, rarely letting outsiders into their mysterious kingdom. They are also the stealthiest, tending to stay in the shadows and watch from the sidelines. Instead of having a leader, like other kingdoms, they have a council of three. They dwell in the Forest of Long Shadows to the West. And use their advanced technology to win battles with weapons such as crossbows, boomsticks, and swords forged with stronger metals than usual. The only other corvids allowed into their kingdom are the Treepies, who have formed a strong alliance with the Magpies.

Uninhabited Kingdoms:
The southern steppes are generally uninhabited. Due to it's unfavorable climate, the steppes are home to very few corvids, the ruthless Jackdaws being one of the few. They will form small bands of them, called Coveys who will mercillisly kill and loot any unlucky enought to cross their path. It is this reason that the steppes are usually referred to as the Bonelands.

Ranks:

Leader: Two in each kingdom, they are mates. Except for the Magpies, who have a council of three. The male leader is higher ranking than his mate, and is in charge of everything. His place is taken by the oldest son.

Council: Exclusive to the magpies, there are three in the kingdom. they replace the leader, making all the decisions based on the advice of the senate. A new council member is picked by an election between the Senate.

Senate: Twenty in the Magpie kingdom. They influence the decisions of the Council, and are also the judges in the court of law. They are also exclusive to the Magpies.

General: One in each kingdom, they command the army. Generals are usually picked based on their military knowledge, strength, battle prowess, and leadership skills.

Sages: As many in a kingdom. They are the healers and spiritual guides within each kingdom. They are forbidden to use weapons.

Warriors: They are the main fighting force of each kingdom, while they are not at war, they are usually seen throughout the kingdom, patrolling. When wartime comes, most will leave to do battle. Some will stay, to protect and patrol the kingdom.

Citizens: As many in a kingdom. They are the main body of Corvid societies and make up most of the population. In times of war some citizens are called to duty, these are called citizen soldiers and have volounteered for this responsibility.

Chicks: As many as possible. They are the future of the kingdom and remain as chicks until one year of age.

Prisoners: Prisoners are corvids who have been put in jail for a crime, or they have been captured in battle. There is no limit of them.

Loners: Loners have either been exiled from their kingdom, escaped from prison, decided to leave, or just born outside of regular society, there is no no limit of them.

Jackdaw Ranks:

Covey Leaders: There are two, and they are mates. Their rule is absolute, when a leader dies, the next one is chosen in a battle between contenders.

Covey Warriors: There is an unlimited number. They are the fighting force of the covey.
