now for the decorating. We'll be adding flower boxes, a chicken swing, an interior ladder (for fun) a "snack bar" for grass, etc. However, the actual structure is complete and the girls can be secure when we aren't home. They will be able to free range in a space four times this size for at least an hour a day and when we are home. The run is roughly 70 square feet. We have six girls. The coops sit outside the run area and are accessible from the outside for egg collection and cleaning. The coop follows the angles or a difficult lower yard space. It has welded wire mesh on the top and hardware cloth on the bottom. We also have a six foot cedar fence beyond that.
Oh, and we're going to add bamboo rollup shades on the interior for extra hot days.
