"Left, I guess." Landon replied. He steered the horse to the the left path and started to trot; not waiting for Skye.

(Well at least it's not the opposite way around X3 But boy, I can have fun with this!)

Skye saw this a challenge, and squeezed her horse into a trot. When she realized they weren't gaining on him at all, she started cantering

Landon grinned and kicked his horse to lope. He heard Skye's horse's hooves pounding down the trail after him. He crept low onto the horse's neck like a jockey; his legs already burning because a) he never really worked those parts of his legs before and b) they were bareback.

Hannah trotted on the trail with Jupiter for a while. She saw two horses that kinda looked like they were racing. "Hi!" Hannah yelled. The yell made Jupiter stop. She kicked his side. Caliber, Hannah's blue/red heeler ran up to Skye's horse and nipped at its legs. "Caliber!" Hannah yelled. "No! "

Skye grinned and gave her horse a light kick, the horse moved into a fast canter. It surged forward suddenly as Caliber bit at its hocks, unseating Skye. She slipped to the side a bit, but scrambled back upright as her horse went galloping up the path and past Landon

Caliber stayed back and Hannah galloped up beside Skye.

Caliber stayed back and Hannah galloped up beside Skye.

Landon grinned and kicked his horse up by Skye and Hannah's horses. "¡Ciao!" He yelled over the wind and pushed the horse into a full run; zooming past the girls. He had to duck a few times to avoid trees and the horse had to jump some stumps and rocks. Whenever the horse jumped, Landon slid back a little so he had to keep scooting forward to not fall off.

Skye frowned slightly, she felt her competitive side kicking in. She urged her horse faster, and then saw another fork in the path. The right side was clear, but might take longer she thought. The left side had a bit fallen branch laying across it. She decided to go left. Her horse hesitated a bit with it saw the branch, but sped right up again. She felt it gathering itself up to jump, and then they where over. She smiled and sat upright again and they went pounding down the path
