Thank you! @PippinTheChicken , you’re correct! Shelly is a Moss Egger, which is basically an EE bred to lay a mossy green egg.

Amazing! I fell so bad for Shelly being ”stuck” in that cup, that’s horrible. But I’m so happy she made it through!

Actually being in that cup probably saved her. I have had flatten chicks that were weak and the others just stepped all over it

I believe that her getting trapped and all bent up in that cup is what caused all of her problems. I have no reason to believe she would have had any problems snuggling up with all the other chicks in the package. It’s likely that because she got stuck in that cup she was weak and nearly dead, whereas if she would have not fallen into it, she would have been strong and healthy like (the majority of) her friends.
