((Nah, it's fine I haven't been that flash at replying either, sorry about that :/))

Asher nodded when Khoe finished speaking and glanced at her for a moment before weaving around another tree. They were nearly at a spot that would be safe enough for them to shift, he glanced at his watch again. Still late. Ash frowned ever so slightly at Khloes question, but answered it in his pleasant smooth tone all the same. "Pretty much, I think it's been just about nine years since my family moved here"

Khloe stepped over a rotten log, and looked around them, into the dense woods, not catching his slight frown, "Where did you used to live?" She felt a pang of envy at the idea of him having a family that he could stay with, but pushed the feeling away, she didn't want to be that kind of person. She glanced up as a bird flew overhead, and thought back to the hawk, the cuts from its attack still stinging.

Khloe stepped over a rotten log, and looked around them, into the dense woods, not catching his slight frown, "Where did you used to live?" She felt a pang of envy at the idea of him having a family that he could stay with, but pushed the feeling away, she didn't want to be that kind of person. She glanced up as a bird flew overhead, and thought back to the hawk, the cuts from its attack still stinging.

((Gah, sorry I was gone! I couldn't get on at all yesterday, something to do with internet loss technicaly things. I dunno. I'm back, anyway ))

She wondered briefly about why he hadn't answered her question about where he used to live, but her thoughts quickly came back to the matter at hand, to shifting, with Asher. "I think we're about far enough out, I doubt anyone is out here." Khloe replied with a nervous laugh, her smile bright, but still showing her nerves.

Mark went to ground at the sound of voices and looked towards Khloe and Asher. He watched the to and listened to them speak about shifting out here and smiled. Two shifters besides him and Anna, and possibly their host. He had not yet ruled the boy out as a shifter, Anna was rarely wrong. The teacher had to be here in this town, they just had to find him.

"I don't see why not" Ash said with an equally mischievous raise of his brow. He decided to take the lead, and glanced around one last time before taking another step forward. It only took a slip second before there was a leopard in his place, gazing up at Khloe expectantly.
