~*~The Shifting War - RP (Role Play)~*~

( Okay, label it that. I thought it did not look like one also but…..)
(All right, then accepted.)

CAN WE RP NOOOOOOOOW?
(Why yes, we can.)

Kyrene chewed on the ends of her hair walking to school. Always walking to school. She didn't like to be contained.

This, Thomas reflected on the sidewalk leading to school, was a complete waste of time. It didn't help with the Feral, and most people were annoying anyway.

Daniel slung the pheasant over his shoulder with a small grin. Sure, that might cause a slight reaction from some people, but what did he care?

"Come on Lee, you know that the human race is a very large, important part of society. And eradicating would be bad and really messy." Charity was frowning. Where had this come from?

Lee shouldered her backpack, "But we're kinda better than them."

"Seriously Lee? What's gotten into you late – Here come the minions. Look, the death of the human race is a bad thing. Catch you later." Charity was immediately surrounded by four girls, leaving Lee to find her group and spill dirt on the world.

"Darn it you two! Take your lunches!" Miri shoved a couple brown paper bags at the twins, who rolled their eyes, thanked her, and ran out the door. "Why are they idiots?" Miri asked Will with pleading eyes.

"Who knows Mini?" Will replied, "You have one of those for me?"

Miri presented Will's lunch to him with a grand flourish, "Yes, now get out. I'll be right behind."

Will frowned, "Mini, you're not staying here alone."

"I'll be fine Will. He's asleep. And I need to make sure the coffee doesn't burn. No worries, okay?"

"Worries," Will grumbled, "Many a worry."

Miri rolled her eyes, "I'll be fine. Shoo." She pushed him out of the house, but he stayed just outside the door.

Skye walked down the road that led to her beloved school. Not. She had already decided the day before, she wasn't going today. Instead, she turned off onto a smaller street that would eventually lead to a even smaller dirt road, then the forest. Skye had been there many times before, she liked to think of it as her secret escape place. And that, she thought as she turned a corner, was all that mattered today

Miri poured the piping hot black coffee into a chipped mug bearing the legend #1 Dad. That was a private joke among the kids. The smell filled the room, pleasantly overpowering the stench of alcohol. The sound of a creaking floorboard sounded above her head, and Miri flew – almost literally – out the door. She slammed into Will, and immediately fired up.

"I told you I'd be fine," she said hotly.

"I'm sure you were. Which is why you were running like your life depended on it," Will replied cooly.

Miri made a dismissive gesture with her hand, "Understatement. You've seen me running for my life. This was for my skin. And I'm fine, like I told you." She swept past him, hair whipping his face. Will glared after her.
