~*~The Shifting War - RP (Role Play)~*~

"Yeah, probably not. Though, I met their newest employee, a few days ago, he might put in a good word for you," Ryan said, stopping and pulling some whip-like branches to the side so they could pass, then continued talking, "That way you don't get one of the jobs they give kids in the summer, they are very low paying." This much conversation was unusual for Ryan, being that he kept to himself, and was too shy to say much even when he was around others. But just like with the wolf, they both had something familiar about them, and he felt at ease, kinda like that new employee at the shop, Zackary, as his name...
Mark nodded again "Thanks" He said then smiled and glanced to Ari as they went past the branches "I doubt anyone around here could put on a word for or against us at the moment but we shall see."

Ari followed after Mark, looking around the forest so she would know how to get back to the hill if they had to. She also watched for hunters or feral that might be hidden in the trees.

"No problem, but, I'm sure he'll do it..." Ryan said, then they emerged from the trees onto a small road, "Okay, it's just this way," he said, turning right and starting down the side of the road. Cars passed them in both directions, and a few bicyclists went by, "So, how do you know your wolf will follow, or is it staying back in the woods?" He asked in a low voice so no one else would hear, then added tentatively, "Um, you know, it's illegal to have them as pets..."

Mark looked to Ari then back to Ryan "The wolf will stay hidden. And it's not a pet." He said then looked to the passing cars, watching them.

Ari came up closer and looked to Ran, changing the subject "How long have you lived here? Do you know which hotel would e good for us to stay in?"

((Ok, I've got Skye free (Did you still want to rp, LTC?) :3))

((Ok, that rhymed. To some extent. XD))

It was some time in the morning when Skye woke up, only not in her bed in the small room at the end of the hall like she usually did. Her eyes flickered open, and the girl sat up abruptly in surprise at the sight that met her eyes. What the... Skye thought, eyes widening in horror. She must have fallen asleep on the couch last night when trying to finish her homework, but completely forgotten to clean up the mess in the kitchen. Now, after her dad had gotten up much before her to leave early for work, there were still dishes scattered in just about every space possible on their not so large bench top.
"Great" She muttered to herself, getting to her feet, now mostly due to the unpleasant waking. It was only then, that she happened to glance at her watch, that much to her horror yet again, read... well, she was late.

Fifteen minutes later, Skye was dashing out the door, having had a quick shower, grabbed an apple, her bag, and tamed her dark brown hair a bit with the hair brush. She raced down the driveway, and then out onto the foot path. Dishes would have to be later.

The thought of offering for them to stay at his place crossed his mind, it was good sized, and it wasn't like anyone else came over. But he push the thought aside, that would just be too weird, though he had done things like it before, mainly with the less fortunate and travelers.

"Well, I've lived here for just about a year now, I moved from Maine. As for hotels, there's a Best Western, and a Motel 8, but I think you'd like the Grove Inn, much better, they are very reasonable, and they have nice rooms. I stayed there when I first moved here." Ryan finest, looking ahead at the ground as they walked. The trees around the road began to open up and the town become visible, "We're going to turn right at the next intersection," He explained as they passed businesses and homes.

Mark nodded and watched the cars and the buildings as they came closer to the town. At the intersection he turned right as Ryan had directed.

"Sounds nice" Ari said and smiled at Ryan then looked to the businesses and houses they were passing "It'll be nice to sleep under a roof again, even if it isn't for long." Neither knew what to expect from the future since their parents had been killed by hunters and feral in a battle they had been unable to avoid.

((Yep, I have Jay heading her way. :p ))

Jayden could see the drown haired girl far ahead of him, he was also late for school, but not by accident. He put his weight into the petals and sped up, "Hay," he said casually with a half smile as he drew up beside her, taking his hands off the handles of his bike and placing them on the sides of the seat instead, something that he was very good at, and used to try and impress girls.

((Ok. I must say that first post you did to start him off made me smile :p))

Skye was wrapped up in her own busy thoughts as she walked rather quickly down the side walk toward school. She didn't often shift out in the open like this, but if she could just go left up ahead and take a short cut through the field, she should be able to go unseen in her fox form. It would be faster, anyway.
She was still trying to make up her mind when she finally noticed the soft sound of bike tyres on concrete coming up behind her. Skye turned her head to look at whoever the voice came from, only to see some boy who apparently couldn't be bothered steering. "Hi" She answered, returning a distracted smile that clearly showed her mind was on things other then him at that moment

The idea that Ari and Mark where travailing, and they couldn't afford to get a dry place to stay without working for the money first made Ryan feel a little uncomfortable. Not because of anything but that fact that he did have somewhere to stay, and they seemed like good people, "Ah, if you'd rather, you could both stay at my place, I have room, and it wouldn't be any trouble." He said as the river came into site.

Ari looked at him and tilted her head a little then looked to Mark questioningly. She would do as he wanted as she usually did.

Mark looked to Ryan then to Ari then around the area, thinking. "It wouldn't put you out?" He asked after several steps in silence. He looked to Ryan again "It would make things easier for us, but we don't want to cause problems"
