Skye, being her clumsy self, somehow managed to trip by a slightly imbalanced placing of her foot on the concrete. She caught herself in time to not go sprawling onto the foot path, though it wasted valuable seconds. By then school was only about ten houses away, she was nearly there...

Chase was closing the space between them quickly, but was starting to worry, as the school was not far at all, and if she happened to scream... He scowled, the thought made him disgusted, not with her, but with himself. He was now about twenty feet back, and was a strong runner, but if she decided to shift, which could happen in an instant, he would be hard pressed to catch her.

Danika turned down the last street to get to the school, running to get to it before she could be any later than she already was. She had woken to realize that she had forgotten to set the alarm the night before and was rushing through the streets. She noticed a few people up ahead of her and slowed to a jog so she wouldn't run them over.

Chase heard someone coming up behind him, and casually looked around as to not seem suspicious, seeing a young girl there, he give a slight smile and a nod, as if he was just walking along, not hunting down a shifter... Why do things have to get so complicated? He thought exasperatedly

Mark nodded his thanks as he took the clipboard back then looked over it to be sure that he had everything in place before turning to look for Joshua "I'll be right back" He said to Ari and Ryan and moved off to look for Joshua to turn in the application

Ari glanced over and nodded "I'll be here" She answered Mark then picked up a compound bow to check it's draw.

Joseph heard Mark coming, and stepped out of her office to meet him, accepting the application with a smile, then took a quick look at it, nodding his approval, "Everything seems in order, I just need to file this, can you start tomorrow?"

Zack passed Mark and Joseph on his way back to the front of the store, holding a couple cases and a shoe bow. He reached the front, setting the things down on a bench for trying on shoes.

Ryan looked slightly excited as he moved to the items Zack had set down, and opened the larger of the two bow cases, and pulled out a black compound bow, holding it up to examine its sturdy, yet sleek design. "Ah, now this is an improvement," Ryan said under his breath, pleased with the new bow.

Zack glanced back to Mark and Joseph, then looked back to Ryan and Ari, smiling as he pulled out the hiking shoes from their box to see what Ryan had thought was so special about them.

"Yes, I can" Mark said and smiled at Joseph "Thanks" He was excited to get a job so quickly and glanced to Ari and Ryan. He thought that once they got to Ryan's house he could leave Ari there for a bit and go to retrieve their bags they had hidden in the woods and scout around for the teacher.

Ari smiled and looked at the bow. "That is nice." She said and looked to Ryan then to Zach before looking to her twin.

So slowed a bit, deciding to turn down the next street, and catch the shifter another day. He had killed eleven shifters over the last five years, and the hardest part was tracking them down, but mentally, the hardest part was killing them, especially when they were young, like this one was...
