Leah nodded easily, despite the fact Lee still held an annoying stance that seemed rather superior to her. "Sure," She said, veering off to the left onto a road that would take them somewhere they could talk without the whole town listening in. "First off though, yes, we do have a proper cause. And I assure you we are not a bunch of psychopaths."

((I may need some help with going into detail about it all, 'cause I don't really know what I'm talking about in terms of the Feral X3))

Within the small amount of time it took Jayden to answer her question, Skye had somewhat figured what he meant. This was confirmed by his answer- which, surprisingly, didn't sound nearly as confident as he had been seconds ago, or even earlier that day. This was also completely new to Skye, having never been much interested in anything of the sort, and at first she had no idea what to reply with. I already said I'm not doing anything! What am I supposed to do now? She thought in exasperation at her own stupidity. A small nod answered his last statement, matched with an equally small smile in an attempt to ease the clear tension that was gathering. "I actually have a ton of work to do at home tonight, so I think I'd better just get home," She answered in a surprisingly level tone. "Sorry," Was lamely added with the same small apologetic smile, even though she wasn't quite sure whether she meant it or not.

Jayden smiled his lopsided smile, but it was fake, and obviously so, "Oh, yeah no problem," He replied a little too quickly, trying to act as if he hadn't really cared, and wasn't actually feeling slightly queazy with embarrassment. "Maybe some other time? And if not that's cool too." He added hopefully, the weekend started the next day, so if there was ever a chance, it would be then. But he knew it was fruitless. Why do I even try? Girls don't like me, that other girl was probably just messing with me or something, and Skye was just being nice. As she always has been.

Skye paused before stepping off the curb and onto the road that was right ahead of them, beginning to walk past the street that she had originally planned on going down. "Yea, maybe. I'll just have to see what my schedule does," And my nerve. You can't even just give a straight 'no'! She thought, getting more frustrated with herself by the moment. Part of the problem though, was that on weekends there wasn't really anything spectacular that usually happened. It was going to be a bit tricky getting out of it then as well, when it would be an obvious time to 'hang out'.

((Creepy... very creepy indeed.))
