3week old comb- how does it look?

Just wanted to say that I bought some top line RIR chicks from a fella in Colo a month or so ago and when I got them he ask if I would like to have a few SLW's (Foley lines), of course I said yes. He sent me 4 as fillers in my chick box. Can hardly believe that my luck was so good that I think I am ending up with 3 pullets and 1 cockerel. I had bought a few of these a year or so ago from a hatchery but oh my, they were nothing like these chicks. Can't wait to see what they look like in a few more months. First photo taken 6/3 next two taken 6/10 These were hatched 4/30 First photo about 5 weeks, next 2 about 6 weeks old.

Yep, there is definitely one cockerel in the pics. Check out the rosecomb and waddles already.

Are your from the Foley line? Funny, a couple of years ago I got 25 of these from a hatchery and the roo got mean right away. I really liked the looks of them but sold them all before the pullets even started to lay. I think they were just shy of 6 months old. When I was asked about these little ones I went to Foley's site and looked at their lines and didn't even think about saying anything but yes. lol Don't know if I will get into raising any or not but they will sure be pretty just walking around the yard.
Yes, they do look a lot alike.

Yes, they are Foley's. Best dispositioned birds I've had. Dang things want to use me for a roost when I open the coop door. Also, they are something I'll be breeding on and maybe showing.

Well I wish you the best and hope they really turn out nice if you are planning on showing. They are some top of the line birds. Will be watching to see how they grow out. I will post photos now and again as mine grow also.
