The Welsummer looks a bit round too so maybe it's just the photo, but Wyandottes do tend to be very round. I read in a book that they are known as "the bird of curves". Is your Wyandotte best friends with your Welsummer? Mine is - I can hardly get a photo of the two separately. I just call them "the W's". This photo was taken a few weeks ago.

After looking at your photo in a larger view, I can see that's not a Welsummer in the background. Oops - my bad!

Kinda looks like your birds but she is supposed to be round as she's a Partridge Wyandottte but I think you figured that out.

She's getting rounder.






All thee of our girls hang together, of course, but Tina, the partridge, seems to be lowest on the totem pole as far a pecking order goes right now.
