Firestorm took Storm's return whinny as an excuse to walk a few yards closer to her. "Greetings! I am Firestorm, a loner. Who are you, and where do you hail from?"

"Perhaps," he said, approaching closer to Storm, "we won't have to be loners, anymore."
Firestorm waited a moment then moved slowly, not wanting to frighten off the mare. It had been too long since he'd even seen a mare, such less talked to one.
