I don't know how many times i'd go in and check them- at first i thought they must be sick when they'd just drop where they are!

It's funny, my Barred Rock chicks (about three weeks) will pester each other, try to get dominion, and then crash all together to sleep. Our rooster is slowly losing dominion, the others are catching up in size. Too bad about the rooster to be, he is the friendliest of the bunch. Likes to be with me, can't keep him. Climbed up my arm and sat on my shoulder...then pooped. So much for my place in the pecking order.
