The Sniffles

Okay, so my mom wen tout to the coop yesterday and then she noticed that Truffles, our chicken who's always been a little sneezy, was sneezing rather loudly. So she picked her up and Truffles had this clear gunk on her nostrils. Any ideas on what's wrong?

might be a bit dusty in your coop?
might be something as simple as vit A deficiency...give Polyvisol Enfamil (unflavored) >three drops in beak once a day for a week and then taper off the next

Does this gunk in the nose keep reappearing? Does her nostril area seem a bit swollen at all? Could be the beginning of a respiratory infection.
