Alina smiled, and guided the aircraft down just behind the van, so she was level with its windows, "Yeah, Tara's in there. I can see her. Not sure about Allan," she reported.

Calder frowned, "I can't believe how - how... how disgusting the Programmer is," he grated, "This is hateful."

“Cool it Calder” Charlotte pulled her sun glasses over her face “y’all might want to hold on”. She swerved the car so it cut the van off leaving enough room for the van to slide to a halt. “Now!” She cried opened in her door and storming over motioning for Alina to come down

Calder leapt out of the car and ran towards the van, feeling his healing power tingling through him.
Alina, meanwhile, pushed her sparkling blue mask over her face, and landed on the flat roof of a nearby building. She quickly shinned down a drainpipe to join the others.
"Charlotte," she whispered, "If you can keep your smoke transparent, see if you can over power whoever's driving. Beware for if they have powers too."

Unfortunately they indeed had powers as well sending lava spewing towards her feet, Lottie yelped and jumped away from the hot popping lava. “Millie!” She shouted “MOVE!” Millie had frozen up as the lava crept closer to her.

Calder acted immediately, and whirled around, grabbing Millie and taking her out of the way. He crouched down slightly to be at her level.
"Millie. At 'em, girl, you can do it. Charm them if you can. Remember we'll protect you."

Millie nodded “okay” she ran up the the window flashing them a dazzling smile, she nodded her head to the van indicating for them to go. “Hi there, I’m Millie” they were immediately enchanted, or at least one of them was, the other resisted her charms and climbed out the other door, neither her or Charlotte saw this.

Alina, on the other side, noticed one creature trying to get away. "Lottie!" she yelled, running towards the mysterious being.

Tara spotted Calder out the window and grinned, they were here to rescue them

Calder caught the grin and smiled back. At least she can't have been hurt too badly.
