"Uggggghhhhhh," she groaned. "I missed dinner?! Whatever, I'll eat later. Once we've, you know, rescued everybody who was kidnapped?"

"Chris? I've been tracking them, and it looks like they've stopped. Should I get out there? Lila had mentioned something about cuffs. Said they prevented them from using powers," Mark said anxiously.

(Same. Plus pyrokinesis, which I've only ever heard used in my fave book series XD)

"Wait- are they at the programmer's palace?" Elsie asked.

(Yup. It's been my fave since 4th grade, but, in my opinion, you can never outgrow it . Apologies, I could fangirl about that series all year).

(lol, it's the same with me. My friend was getting chickens, and... well... here I am . Kinesises are awesome. I'll need to tell my friend the plant ones: she's been looking for one for her KOTLC OC, who, until now, has been a flasher and... I think empath?)
