The Society of Truth, an RP

Alina nodded, "I know. You couldn't help it. I - almost - well, I almost wish I'd seen her." she admitted, sitting on the windowsill.
Tara nodded avoiding Alina’s eyes “I’m not even sure I really saw her, I saw my parents too. And a child in the garden.” She glanced sideways at Calder “and I’m considering going and paying my sister a visit tomorrow because I don’t want to loose the only remaining family member I have without patching things with her.”

Calder laid a hand on her shoulder. He said nothing but his eyes clearly communicated his approval. Alina also smiled. "It's okay, Tara," she said.

“I um I think I’m going to go write in my journal.” She realised she had never mentioned her journal “I keep a journal of everything that happens to me, I started keeping them when I was twelve.”

Alina laughed. "Yeah. I know what a journal is. I'll leave you in peace," she said. "Calder- c'mon."

Calder hesitated. "You're sure you're okay, Tara?"

“Yeah Calder you don’t need to worry about me. I’m fine now” she smiled and skipped into her- I mean Michaela’s room her hair bouncing around and she gave them a smile over her shoulder and she pulled out her leather journal.
I was wrong about Calder, we seem pretty close now.... but I get the feeling when he looks at me sometimes he see’s Michaela. I had some of the weirdest stuff happen to me tonight since I have joined the society.

Alina smiled. She hadn't kept her journal since Michaela had died, but the memory brought more pleasure than pain. Perhaps she could start again someday. She walked into her own room and pulled open the door that connected to the workroom.

She finished writing in her journal about the days events, she put her hair in a bun and raced down the stairs, she almost slammed into Chris as she rounded the corner. “Sorry!” She cried “jeez I really should slow down. I was looking for something to do, maybe you have some chores I can do to help?”
