The Society of Truth, an RP

Alina looked at her. "I'm sorry," she mouthed. Calder looked about ready to throw Liana out. "Don't hurt her," was all he said, but in a voice that said everything.
Liana looked taken aback at Calder and quickly released her younger sister, “excuse me? I would never hurt her” Tara shot her a cold stare “well then why did you leave me on the streets” she mumbled

Calder moved towards Tara. He put a hand on her shoulder. "Chill," he said, "I didn't mean to spark an argument."

He then dipped his head and whispered to Tara, "You have a chance now to get on with her. She doesn't act like a monster. Why not try it? If I know Alina, that's what she wanted for you,"

Tara met his eyes and nodded “look Liana, I’m willing to let bygones be bygones but there is one thing I really have to ask you, why did you do it?” She asked meeting her sisters eyes, Liana looked relieved “I um...I don’t know, I was in a bad place and I was confused with what had happened everything was happening so fast I didn’t know how to react so I figured the best way to deal with it was to get the heck out of the city. I went straight to my house and my job, I didn’t know you didn’t have access to your bank account, if I had have known that I would have definitely let you stay I just...I’m sorry” she said quietly. Tara nodded slowly “okay. Thanks for telling me”. They stood there in silence, it was kind of awkward

Alina clapped her hands. "Thank you! Now how about joining our game, Liana?"

She gave Tara a smiling glance, her blue eyes sparkling brightly. "You don't have to condemn me anymore, this worked out just how I wanted."

“Oh I will definitely get you back for this” Tara grinned “considering it’s my turn, she looked at Liana “so how about joining?”
Liana looked a little nervous “what’s the game?” She asked

"You know, we could just switch to truth or dare," Calder suggested, linking arms with Tara, "Because there are some things I really want to see you do," he chuckled.

Alina stepped up to Liana and met her eyes. She was a good inch taller and it felt horribly uncomfortable, but she kept her voice bright, as she knew she was good at that. "I have a confession. I sent that message, not Tara. I hope you won't hate me for it, but I couldn't bear seeing Tara unhappy."

“Sure” Tara grinned
Liana’s eyebrows shot up “no wonder Tara looked so shocked when I showed up” she laughed noticing the younger girl was a good head taller than her

"Well, you're welcome," Calder joked, leading Tara into the lounge. Alina gave Liana a significant glance and then laughed merrily, "Come join us," she said.
