The Society of Truth, an RP

"Okay, fine. At least you fixed them. And you did a pretty good job. But if we're going to be a team, we need to start acting like one. As in, like, checking in with eachother."
"Thank you," Mark said.
" Definitely," he said kindly ," hey mark, what was that thing upstairs?!"
"Oh, that was how we're going to find our next hiding place!" Mark told him.
She walked around looking at the different gadgets (does anyone want a little sister for one of their characters?)
(Maybe Mark.)

(I'm not going to quote as I feel like there's not exactly any one thing to respond to, looks like a ton has happened here!)

Alina, hearing the racket in the hallway, slipped out and had a look. Lottie and someone she didn't recognise were arguing. The newcomer had a frustratingly obnoxious, know-it-all tone - and who did she think she was, bossing Mark around? He had all the weight of the tech of the Society and she dares blame him for anything?

(Help, I just realised how much Elsie is going to annoy Alina...)

Wait, and was she even a member? Alina had never had the privilege of an introduction, if one could call it a... privilege. She turned and headed back into the kitchen, ignoring the little kid Millie. At least I know who that is, Alina told herself, but this place is well and truly chaotic. Plus, my workroom is a mess. And I really don't want that... Elsie person going in there and criticising my projects.

Chris stepped up to her and drew her aside. "Two things, Alina," he murmured, "One, I'm happy that Tara's staying. She shouldn't be on the streets."
"What?! The- streets?" Alina asked, for once in her life surprised.
"Apparently so." Chris said, gravely, "Anyway, she's here now. Secondly, you know I support your cause. But I can't help but be concerned at the state of your team. You're disorganised, Alina. I don't know who those girls are that just arrived, but I think you should be sure that older one isn't going to cause rifts. I've seen Mark's skill and Lottie's anger before, and this new girl is challenging both."
Alina nodded, with a sigh. "I get you. I just don't know how I'll ever get the whole lot of us together. It's precisely what I said earlier, we just can't have too many people."
"Hey," he said, laying a hand on her shoulder, "You'll figure it out. And besides, you're not the only one who has to work it all out."

Alina nodded. "I think we might need to meet somewhere and appoint a leader. Not like... an autocratic leader, but someone who knows what we're doing and can deal with people who - who don't know their place."

Allan shadowported to his house and quietly stepped inside, his wife was laying their daughter down and had just finished, he walked into the room and smiled as he watched his daughter drift off to sleep," hey honey, how ya doin?!" Allan whispered softly, hugging his wife and kissing her on the forehead," hey, I'm fine, as good as could be expected." She said, draping her arms around his neck and laying her head on his chest. Allan sighed knowingly and looked around the room, toys, blankets and random items were Strawn across the floor, but he was happy to be back home, it was the only place he truly felt happy, he looked down at his tired, yet beautiful wife and smiled," I'm sure we're both tired, what'd say we get some sleep?!" He asked quietly. " I... Love that idea," his wife answered with a yawn and a chuckle. Allan took a hot shower and got into comfortable cloths, then slipped into bed. Letting the shadows take over the night as he fell asleep, his wife in his arms.

Charlotte walked in “god I think I’m going to kill her, she has some serious nerve! How dare she challenge me! I have been in this society longer than most!” She cried furiously

Matt watched as smoke started curling From her hands," remind me not to get on your bad side," he joked, trying to ease the tension

"I hate to admit it, but she's rubbed me up the wrong way, too," Alina sighed. "This team is disintegrating and I don't know what we can do about it."
Calder gasped in mock horror. "Alina doesn't know something! Oh wonder of wonders!"
"This is really not the time for joking, Calder - please," Alina reminded him, tiredly. The weariness in her voice made Calder look twice at her - and realise perhaps for the first time just how invested she was in this goal.

“You won’t as long as you don’t hurt me” she said, she tugged her smoke back into her hands making sure it didn’t hit anyone

Yeah well bossing is all around is going to annoy me to no end!” Charlotte said dusting her hands
