“You won’t as long as you don’t hurt me” she said, she tugged her smoke back into her hands making sure it didn’t hit anyone

Yeah well bossing is all around is going to annoy me to no end!” Charlotte said dusting her hands
"We have far too many dominant people in this group," Alina said, "And those, like Mark, with good leadership qualities, aren't dominant enough."

She looked at Charlotte carefully before continuing, "This isn't to offend anyone. We're a team. It's just that certain people, particularly little miss Elsie, think they know more than those who've been here ages. And sure, I know I've got a nerve to be saying this, because I'm just about the youngest here, but..."

“Yeah I know. I’m not a good leader, I like to be in charge but I get wayyyy too angry wayyy to quickly and that causes problems” Charlotte said, “and your almost the youngest but not quite. Millie takes the cake for that, she’s 14. But she’s Marks sister.”

"I know. It does sometimes," Alina said, for once feeling able to be blunt without hurting feelings. "Anyway. I do sometimes wish I were older... what this team needs is someone who knows what they're doing. Someone who can put people in their place."

"You might as well just say, put Elsie in her place. We all know who you're talking about, Alina," Calder said, infuriatingly calm.
"Oh, whatever. Maybe someone who could put you in your place would be a good idea?" Alina suggested, her voice also calm
"And you in yours?"
"Deal." Alina said, her voice betraying the sarcasm.

“Would you like me to put Elsie in her place? I will happily volunteer.” Charlotte offered (who knew Charlotte would become Alina’s friend lol I honestly thought Charlotte was going to hate Alina)

(Common enemy brought the US and USSR together in WWII and look what happened when that enemy was gone.... haha maybe this will be a more lasting friendship!)

Alina smiled. "That sounds more appealing than it ought to, I'm afraid."

“Awww but she’ll never agree” she laughed “and your right. She definitely has it coming.”
Tara walked into the kitchen “hey Chris, her Alina. Thanks for letting me stay” she said
Alina smiled, and, before she could respond to Tara, Calder stepped forward, laying his hand theatrically over his heart. "No problem, Tara," he said, mimicking Alina's voice.
Chris chuckled.
