“Yeah she did” Tara replied “it is very kind of you to let me stay, I won’t stay for too long. And if I’m an inconvenience please tell me and I will Find somewhere else to stay”

"You couldn't stay too long," Chris murmured, close to her so that only she and Alina could hear. "It's good to have life in this place."

Calder would not have said so for all the world, but the way Chris was treating Tara like a third daughter was slightly frustrating. He could feel the circle of the little diamond ring he kept in his pocket pushing against his thigh and frowned.

Chris was meant to have been getting a son, not another daughter. And that son was meant to be him! He turned and walked away, up the stairs and into the bare room that had been Michaela's.

And now Tara was sleeping here.

(Oooh Michaela’s room is now Tara’s for the moment. I just thought Of something What if Tara kinda became like a sister to Alina and a daughter to Chris? Because she doesn’t have any parents and Chris lost a daughter and Alina a sister lol)
