The Society of Truth, an RP

Pics
(That sounds good!)
(I figure I'll just do another form so we know what Michaela's like, even though she'll never be played. She wasn't a member of the Society, but was a Protector. Maybe we could say she contemplated it but died before she could join, just as a reason why Lila and the others don't know her.)

Age: 23 when she died
Name: Michaela Kennedy
Gender: Female
Power (If a Protector): Chlorokinesis - ability to summon/control/manipulate plants.
Description: Looks rather like Alina. Dark red hair, which was much shorter than Alina's - about shoulder length - tall, more shapely and less skinny than Alina. Eyes more grey than blue. Wore a dark green costume with rubies.
Personality: More outgoing and less shy than Alina, friendly and always knows what to do and when. Very much a people person, very close to her father and Alina. As her power suggests, every inch an outdoor person.
Other: Alina's sister, Chris's oldest daughter, Calder's fiancee at one point.

Tara smiled at Chris “so you don’t mind me staying here?” She asked again “sorry for all the questions I’m just really worried about stepping on anyone’s toes”.
(Oooh Michaela’s room is now Tara’s for the moment. I just thought Of something What if Tara kinda became like a sister to Alina and a daughter to Chris? Because she doesn’t have any parents and Chris lost a daughter and Alina a sister lol)
"Don't be," Chris smiled. "Alina and I are agreed on one thing - this place has been too quiet the last month or so."

Then, jokingly, he added, "Though I wouldn't say we were quite ready for the chaos to ensue that has done today!"

(Yeah that's a cool idea! Maybe it could even go further, like Calder and Tara.... you get my meaning? And I deliberately gave Michaela some similarities to Tara in personality too)

“Yeah I know what you mean. I haven’t seen my sister in weeks, I don’t even have her phone number” Tara said.
(ooooh I like that idea. Calder and Tara Dating?! Awesome! Yeah I noticed that 😀)

Alina winced. "I can hardly imagine that," she said softly,

(Haha I know the age gap is like 8 years, but we can work around it!)

(I will be gone about 10 minutes coz I have to have a shower)
(I know... I have to go too... we decided the chick won't heal so are culling it... it's a hard decision to make but I have peace that it's the right one)
(Definitely. Like it’s not that bad like it’d be bad if she was a teenager but she’s an adult)
“Yeah neither can I and I’m the one living it” she replied
(And yeah, you're right)
Alina nodded. "I get that."
For the first time since Michaela's death, she found herself wanting to talk about it to someone else. "Hey, how about we talk... upstairs? It's less - less chaotic, and the dinner's just in the waiting-for-it-to-cook stage,"

Chris hid the surprise on his face by glancing out of the window. Alina had never done this before. Calder was thinking the same, but sadly with a darker tinge to his thoughts.

He'd known Alina for far longer than Tara had... yet Tara was the one she was going to confide in?

He did not consider that his teasing had put all thought of him ever being serious completely out of Alina's mind.

“Good idea.” Tara flashed them a quick smile before following Alina. “My sister is about 8 years older than me. Even when we were growing up we used to bicker and fight. When she moved to Chicago it was a saving grace because I was finally going to be the centre of my parents lives. The whole time it had been about my sister not me.” She explained “then the accident happened and I didn’t get the time with them. Liana, my sister, came for the funeral before leaving. I had my money and she had hers and that was all she cared about. She’s definitely a contender for worst sister of the year am I right?”
(I’m so sorry. I hope all goes well with the cull I know how you feel. Sometimes it’s kinder to do it this way because there are no guarantees)

(I’m back now)

(I know. It's a really tough call... but I feel like this is the fairest way. I've been feeding it, making it drink, etc and we really bonded. But it couldn't even feed itself. It couldn't get around on its own or anything. I just feel like... this is the fairest way.)

Alina closed her bedroom door as they reached it, and flopped down on the bed. "I don't know," she admitted, "All sisters bicker, I think. Michaela and I certainly did. But we ended up really close by the time I turned twelve. And—I think Liana is a beautiful name."

(Hey I just realised... she only knows Alina has a sister who died, nothing else... this could be interesting...)
