The Society of Truth, an RP

"Your room?" Calder looked at Alina, who seemed - for the first time in the years he'd known her - to be close to fainting.
“Her room, it’s her room not my room. I’m not part of this family she is” she reminded him,
"Tara, stop it. You're freaking everyone out," Elsie said with a subtle nudge of her head to Calder and Alina and a warning look.
“I’m not trying to. You know what I’m going to the outskirts” she attempted to teleport but only got to the bottom of the stairs before she collapsed unconscious

Calder almost cried out at the words. I'm not part of this family, he told himself, she just said it so aptly.

Alina's skin, normally that beautiful lily-white, was ashen. She stood back a little, leaning heavily on one wall.

(BTW @EverV I love how Elsie's reactions are so innocent XD)

(lol thanks)
"Fami-" Elsie started, then nearly facepalmed. Of course. She gave an awkward smile and ran down the stairs to Tara.

Tara lay at the feet of the stairs still unconscious
Calder bent and felt for a pulse. "Hush everyone," he ordered, his voice carrying unusual weight. His eyes closed in deep concentration and he began feeling his healing energy pulsing through him.

He was visualising it - green. Green. It was green. Green lights lit up inside him and he felt it beginning to flow into Tara. His eyes opened and, if anyone had noticed, they too were suddenly not their usual ice-grey. They were emerald green. His fingertips glowed as he traced glittering green lines over Tara's arms and legs, connecting to her heart. He pressed hard, willing his energy through, and then it was over.

He sat back on his heels, panting. "She - might be fine now - he said."

Tara let out a Yelp and jumped to her feet “what is the name of god just happened?” She cried “I thought I saw a ghost” she took in everyone’s faces “oh.” She stood “um maybe I will just go and have a lie down my head hurts”

(Whoa that was actually FUN to write. And this is my last post, I gotta go)

I think you saw a ghost, too, Calder told himself, but didn't speak.
