The Society of Truth, an RP

“Oh trust me I do” she replied with a laugh
She suddenly stopped in her tracks “I just had a thought” she said “what if they did something like remove my power? When I was captured today. What if I can’t teleport?” It had just struck her how much of an impact those handcuffs had on her so what if something else had sucked it out of her

"So," Alina said, "What does interest you? That's probably the easiest way to do this. You could rummage through everything in a year and not see it all."
“I like creating inventions. I was never much good at it though” she said (then goes on to say this:)

She attempted to teleport but nothing happened, she sank to the floor quivering and white faced. “I-I lost my abilities” she whispered
"You can't have done," Alina insisted. "I'm going to call Calder. And maybe one of my manuscripts will have something about this."

She glanced about her, "Now where did I put my phone?" she muttered, then spotted it displaying a planetarium app under her telescope. She quickly picked it up and dialled Calder's number. The speed at which she did so belied her experience in calling him.
"Hey?" Calder's voice was muffled.
"Can you come over? Like, right now? We need help."
"Wha-"
"Don't ask now,"

Alina put the phone down and glanced at Tara. "I promise it'll be okay."

Tara didn’t look up she just sat there staring blankly at the wall purely in shock, she had her abilities when she was thirteen, all these years she had always been able to rely on them but not now
