"Hm. Well, I've seen this for Calder, so no use asking him... Tara, would you rather let me send one message to anyone on your phone, or let me look through absolutely anything for five minutes without you stopping me?" Alina asked.
Calder reseated himself. If Tara had been looking, she'd have realised he was a good two feet closer to her than before.

(just two more tonight... I have so many things to do tonight)

Alina was smirking. She scrolled through the list of contacts and stopped at a name that was familiar. Liana Reir.

Her swift fingers flew over the keys as she typed,
Hey Liana. I miss you. Please could you come over?

She added her address and pressed send.

Liana’s phone pinged notifying her of a text message
Hey Liana. I miss you. Please could you come over?
Yeah sure little sis. It’s actually funny that I’m in town. I will be there soon.
She hopped in a cab and about ten minutes later she arrived. She hopped out the cab and knocked anxiously on the door, “I’ll get it” Tara grinned opening the door, she dropped her phone “Liana?!”

Calder looked at Alina in complete incredulity. "You're either more of a genius than I ever could have imagined, or horribly reckless," he exclaimed, running into the hallway towards Tara.

He had this crazy idea that she might need protecting.

She stood there staring at her sister “hi” Liana said awkwardly looking at her sister then she saw Calder “are these the people your staying with?” Tara nodded wordlessly
