Charlie turned back to the control panel and started the sequence to awaken another batch of the spliced kids.
Sonya watched him, quietly tapping out a code on her keyboard to tape the newest splices.

Sonya watched his vital signs, displayed on her monitor. She glanced over to Charlie, but he was watching the monitor next to her, so she returned to just watching.

Vale sat in the darkness, and directly below him, a light came out of nowhere, as he fell through it, he felt liquid all around him, he could feel himself breathing, but he shut his eyelids as soon as he tried opening them, because the liquid stung his eyes.

Charles clicked in the code to drain the tank, now that it's occupant was starting to wake. As soon as the liquid drained out, the door popped open, releasing Vale. Charles sat back, looking over the vitals for the other tubes occupants.

Vale opened his eyes as he felt the water at his neck, it was blurry but the water dripped away, he unsteadily put one foot in front of the other, and then just stopped in the middle of the room, and he dropped to the floor, staring blankly at the wall.
