When they were both inside she closed the door and turned to face them "So, to be quick. The room next to this one holds the elevator to the surface. You either figure out a way to get to it, or you will have to go to the lowest level to use the emergency train. But that goes to the barracks house, so I don't recommend it." She sighed "If you two can bring Vale and Jess with you." She added softly. She turned to face the door "For what it's worth I am sorry for everything that has happened to all of you. When you are ready do a three finger countdown, and I will create a distraction for you."

Jess had decided to go back to her room and sit on her bed, something was going one, she just didn't know what. she had noted that Sonya had felt uneasy just by the tone of her voice. she knew something was wrong or was going to happen.

Sonya glanced back at the two girls and nodded then turned to leave going back to the control room.


She did not know that Charles watched her and had heard every word spoken. He smiled and went to start typing on the control board. "Good girl, Sonya. You will need their trust." He said softly. He glanced at the clock and switched the light settings to night mode.

Every light in the living areas dimmed but did not go out. Rooms that did not have life signals in them went dark, conserving energy.

jess could hear the lights dim, it was already time to go to sleep. she laid down and fiddled with her fingers, today was the same as usual except for the newbies.

Vale still slept, dreaming.
