Gwen nodded "Yeah, You weren't with the group earlier, who are you?"

(Gwen has only been awake half a day, and your info thing said Jess had been there 4 years, so Gwen doesn't know)
 
"um, im Jess." she said. she had been told to take a nap because she had over worked herself. "i was just sleeping, i had a very long test." she said looking at the ground, she hoped the girl didn't notice she was blind, she really wanted a friend. "whats your name." she asked with a small smile."and are you new here?" Jess fiddled with her hands and walked closer to the girl, she knew where to stop because she could hear the breathing of the girl ever so slightly.

(actually she has been there as long as she can remember, she just went blind 4 years ago. )
 
"Um, yeah, I guess. I just woke up today. I'm Gwen. What do you mean test? No, wait. Eva will want to hear this too. Come on" Gwen said and turned around, feathers rustling as she walked over to Eva

Gwen stopped by Eva "Eva, Jess. Jess, Eva" She said to introduce them in a way "Alright now, what did you mean by 'test'?"
 
"hi Eva." she said not waving, "um, well, i was being tested on my sonar hearing today and to see how it would help me get through a maze. im part bat and then squirrel." she said fidgeting with her fingers. "im always tested, and you guys will be to, its why were here. to be tested, i have been tested now for about 9 years i think." she said, 9 years was all she could remember that far back.
 
"Nine years?" Gwen said shaking her head "No. No, I am not going to be some kind of guinea pig for these people." Her wings flared out some as she spoke
 
"you kind of have no other choice, the kids who escaped probably caused the security to be upped, and their being hunted down. we don't have a choice." she said sadly. "i learned that just going with it, leads you to rewards and a good time. i mean we have a pool." Jess said gesturing to the wall instead of the pool. dang it. she thought, this was it.
