Lavender Orpington rooster x SLW hens. Hatched April 10.

Still look inconclusive to me. One set of budding wattles *might* be brighter than the others but I really couldn't say for certain.

I suppose I have to wait for July and saddle feathers.

I'd love to have one boy out of this batch.

Yeah. Me too.

My boys were supposed to come in the Welp order that was pushed back to September instead of next week.

I have my eye on the French Cuckoo Marans we're calling "Big Spot" from the Ideal Pullets. (I'd wanted packing peanut males but didn't get any).
