The Stealth Hatch, or the marital fiasco.....

Okay, so does he KNOW what an incubator is for? HA!

Check out the home-made incubator contest...gopherboy won, and he's got awesome step-by-step instructions for how he built it! It's pretty neat if you haven't seen it yet.

Gopher boy's incubator is awesome. His coop building page is hilarious, and I wish that he could come to my house and build me a coop too. And no, I'm not sure that my husband does understand the purpose of an incubator... and I'm NOT going to tell him!!!

Well, gosh, even if he wants to help you build one to sell...you surely will need to TEST it before selling so you know it's in proper working order!

chickensducks&agoose :

actually, he IS that controlling... and he'd never let me if he knew... but i tend to go by the theory that if he finds out when it's too late, yeah, he's mad, but at least I got to do what i wanted to....

I have kind of thhe same guy. He knew about the "free" dutch eggs, but not about the serama eggs or the Showgirl eggs that will go next. I have to bribe mine with Harley parts , T-shirts and OSU memorbilia.OH and i have to paint the mudroom in OSU colors Grey with the helmet stripe running at chair rail height. THings you do for a chicken fix. You should make a Miss Prissy bator and hide it somewhere.

so glad my hubby ain't like that.

he likes the chickens just as much or more than me. he looks in the bators more than me and loves to just go out and talk to the grown ones. he loves it when hatch day comes (first one this year is Friday). and he makes sure we have more to go in the bator as soon as the others hatch out.

love my hubby
