Hi everyone i'm have a bit of a dilemma. I have three Chickens; Squeaker Wyandotte x cochin, Phoenix the Phoenix cross and Leghorn the Leghorn x New hampshire. All of them laid White eggs except for Leghorn who laid a brown egg. Leghorn is going through a bit more of a heavy molt than Squeaker and is lossing lots of feathers but is starting to grow them again.
Yeasterday i found there to be three eggs laid in the same day, which I thought was strange since squeaker doesn't lay much and Leghorn is molting. The stranger thing is that there were three white eggs! not a brown one. One egg was quite small, one medium and one a large white egg about the size of Leghorns brown eggs. I checked the nesting box the night before and in the morning but there were no eggs. Is it possible one laid two eggs or that my chickens egg color has changed completely?
