The string method...fact or fiction?

It's a bunch of hooey. lol

I got 4 baby muscovies from some people last fall, and they were like oh, we know what they are, we have a way of telling. I was like, um, what's that? And they pull out the string dangling deal and proceeded to show me. I just went along with them, cause I wanted some of the ducklings regardless.

So supposedly I got 1 male and 3 females.

The guy even gave me the string he used. lol And just to see what it'd do, I tried it, and I actually got the same results from it that he did. However, that meant nothing.

I had 2 males and 2 females. Only 1 out of 4 was right though.... Cause what they said was a male was a female, and 2 they said were female were male. lol
