Now that the geese are going out into their house at night one of them is being very stubborn about even walking in the direction of the house in the evening. She will just plant her feet and refuse to move. Now she has started doing that whenever I want her to go somewhere she doesn't want to. I have tried scooting her with a broom, pushing her with my foot, pushing her with my hands...lately I have just been picking her up and carrying her to where I want her to be. What is the right way to handle this?

I would be interested in this response as well. I have a gander that will do the same thing. Usually in the morning when I feed them, he will run up and just stand there until I push him out of the way. I have a feeling he will be very agressive during breeding season.

So does it work when you heard her with a stick (broom)? If so, I would stick with that.
