Limu doesn't particularly approve of her new fleece hen saddle either.

Everyone except Amalthea have significantly picked or plucked feathers, so with temps dipping into single and negative digits starting tomorrow I was worried the damaged feathers wouldn't keep them warm enough.

So I cut up an old pair of pajama pants and made hen saddles for everyone.

How cute! Have you figured out what’s causing the picked feathers? Are they doing it to themselves or is there one picker? I have 5 girls that look the same and after many treatments with a variety of diff meds, I don’t think it’s bugs anymore!
