The summer with my uncle is over

Well, for me, anyway. He leaves MO a few days after I did, so when I go home he won't be there.

First of all, thank you to everybody who has offered advice or prayed for me. This really was a very difficult time, but I think it was good for me.
Before he showed up I could have fit the "little girl who hates conflict" label to a T. If somebody picked on me I'd stand there hanging my head like a puppy who chewed a shoe until they were finished. Now I'm much better at standing up for myself and those around me. I've learned that conflict is not the end of the world, and that sometimes it can be worth it.
I've made mistakes over the course of the summer that he's overreacted to, and I've learned a) how NOT to react and b) how to handle somebody who's overreacting.

Now, all of this being said, I do not EVER want to do this again!!!
