I'm still kinda new to raising chicks, as well. I tried it last year, it went pretty well..
Until a dog ruined it all for me. :/So, i'm starting over this year.
I've been lucky too, haven't lost any of the baby chicks so far.
Hope you will share photos of yours sometime!

Finally, information on those adorable little peeps I bought a month ago. I have been searching high and low for information. Took two weeks just to find out what they were. Tetra Tint was not coming up anywhere as a breed. Thank you!!!! I guess we'll just have to wait and see how they turn out. This is my first experience with raising chickens, I picked a good one (lol). Got 12 peeps, all made it to my surprise (4 weeks old Saturday).​

I just got 9 chicks from TSC yesterday and I haven't found out what these three chicks were. They were in the assorted pullets bin and they all look the same. I couldn't get pictures of the three together but they all have white little wings and yellow bodies. I noticed that Tetra Tint chicks look a lot like them.Are they Tetra Tints?

They do look like Tetra Tints, but it's hard to be sure. I have a couple Leghorns and some Amberlinks that they also resemble.
Some breeds look so similar at this age!

So I might have missed it..but is it still a question as to what the mixed breeds are for the tetra tints? I am thinking I have 3 from TSC...still a chicken newbie so learning about all the many diffrent breeds...can not find anything regarding these little guys!

There was one bin that we got 3 chicks from and it had the sign over the bin that said Amberlinks. The chicks that we got from that bin have blackish/brownish wing feathers but their body is yellow. Oh, and yes they do look a lot similar and some times its hard to tell them apart.
