There are some things they won't eat raw but will eat cooked. Broccoli for instance- when I pull the plant after harvesting the heads, they'll eat the leaves off the plant quickly. Same thing with Brussels sprouts plants. They love whole head cabbage. If the broccoli florets are cooked, they'll eat it, but they only get leftovers. They will eat raw carrots if run through the food processor. Carrot and beet peel mush is a hot commodity with my girls. They'll also eat cooked spinach but not raw, and the same with green beans.
They don't like bell peppers raw or cooked. I will be trying raw winter squash later today.
