I am currently transforming our unused shed into a coop. I spent yesterday cleaning 30 years of debris out of it. Uggg. I ran over the water spicket with my truck and now my husband is really POed because he has to dig it up and see if the pipe under it is busted. On top of it all it is thunderstorming so I cant take the FULL truck bed of trash to the dump and he won't be able to do much on the repair either. Our water is shut off till we get it fixed. Lame. I just wanted to build something for my chickies myself without always having to ask him to do it. Grrr. Anyway I'm not sure if my grandpa can pull the shed out of the mud with his tractor or if I am just going to have to build up a floor in it where it sits. I'd like to move it over with my other coop. As a bonus I found 4 metal vents in there that we can install to get more airflow. I have a few places I am going to reinforce with chicken wire and I am going to make wood doors for it because the ones on it now don't really close. Well that's all I have to report so far. I'lll let you know how it progresses.
