The transport

How would I transport my chicks to the coop when they out grow the brooder if the coop is 150' from the brooding area and the brooder weighs 300+ pounds.

We moved our whole coop from the driveway where we built it to the other side of our property by putting 2X4 skids on it and towing it with our truck.... it did leave some marks, but the grass grew in fine.

Carry one or two chickens at a time to the coop.

I`ve had success using a bucket. Be sure to use a lid of some sort.

a box works great or laundry basket with a towel over the top so they don't jump out.
