Tough turkeys patrol their borders.

I've been worried about the tiniest youngest turkey. She's no bigger than the Cornish Cross that the crows killed. Crows learned that 4-5 pound white birds don't fight back and are easy to kill. She's little, not any more than 1 pound. A full 6 weeks younger than the next oldest and can walk between the other turkey's legs.

I moved my ducks back into the orchard today and the entire turkey army came out in formation to chase them all over. Poor ducks can't fly, so could only run. I had to go out and close the ducks into their night run to save them.

So bring it, crows. I think the crows are in for a nasty surprise if they think they can kill baby turkeys. Even the little one was flapping and attacking the ducks. She probably doesn't even need the big toms to come to her rescue. Little ninja turkey baby.
