Thanks for all the information. I was able to find out the dosage thanks to all of you. But he is getting worse.

He is very disoriented and uncoordinated. He can't seem to keep his balance to even get a drink of water or a bite to eat. I am really starting to get worried. If he makes it to tuesday I am going to call the vet and see what they think. We really don't have any vets here that are good with birds, but I guess something is better than nothing. Thanks again for everyone's help. At least I can keep him comfortable until then.

I know that chickens can be given aspirin so probably pet birds can as well, but if your bird is going to the vet anyway I would ask him/her about it and what the dose would be, especially since your bird already has some health issue going on already.

Tylenol is very dangerous to use in most animals, especially birds. Never use ANYTHING in CATs without checking with vet first...they have some bizarre reactions.

I've used a low-dose (81 mg) aspirin, crushed in a quart of water for a limping hen. She's fine now. Was given dosage by an on-line poultry friend...

I got 325g aspirin, did some math, and 1/4 tablet in 4 cups of water is the equivalent. My duck with the bummed leg is getting better after resting in a sling for a day. I just gave her aspirin now, so I hope she feels better today! Good news is that she's starting to put pressure on the leg!
