*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Yes, you called ?" She waited impatiently.
"Yes, we need to talk. You are 20 years old (right?). There are so many suitors that could give your father such great political advantages. My point being, it is time for you to be married. Your brother Edwin, 2 years younger, will be married this year, to the daughter of a king your father has had many trifles with. Their marriage will settle so many arguments. Now, there is a prince that is the son of an opposing kingdom. I have just received this letter with a marriage proposal. For you and his son!" Mariah said all this without pause, that way Jenel could have no argument. Mariah's face was lit with a smile. She was so pleased with this proposal.

(BOOM!)

Lariah wrinkled her nose at Arthur and grinned.
" No." She said jokingly.
Lariah went under water, and found the fish at the bottom of the river bank. She came back up with the dead salmon.
" You said you wanted to dine tonight?" Lariah asked. She lifted up the fish.
Well, this is our dinner.Lariah thought as she tried to swim to the other side of the river. Something snagged her leg firmly, and she yelped in surprise underwater. She couldnt get back to the surface....

Arthur waited for Lariah to come back up, but she didn't. He dove underwater after her.
(is she just snagged on like a tree branch)

Lariah pullet on her leg, stopped, and relaxed, If you panic, you lose air faster. She looked at her leg, and saw a snare anchored to a big rock.
A fish snare?Lariah thought, No. you would use a net for that. For a crocodile? A big animal, like a elk?
Lariah realized something.
Was this for me?

Linnet woke and adjusted her body on the small bench. She closed her eyes again, br did not sleep. Her mind was reeling.

Peter saw Linnet shift, and went over to her. "Excuse me...My Lady are you alright?" He asked politely.
Linnet opened her eyes when she heard a voice. It was Peter. She sat up quickly. "Sir Peter! What are you doing here?" She asked, surprised.
--
Fawn heard Lady Linnet's voiced. 'So Richard was correct, there is something going between the two', she thought.

"I will do no such thing! " she gasped. "Love is not to be thrown around like nothing at all."

Arthur saw Lariah struggling just under the surface. He quickly swam over to assist her. It took a minute, but he finally found object ensnaring her. 'At trap? What on earth is it doing down here.' He quickly unhooked her, and swam the barely conscious princess to the surface. He reached the surface, gasping for air, and managed to get the two waterlogged people to the banks. "Are-are you alright?" He asked shakily.
